We purchased the former Hudec resort in September of 2009 and have renamed it Beacon Harbor Resort. It has been a very busy time as we have finished extensive renovation to the basic motel units and the kitchenettes. We now have very nice, comfortable, clean rooms.
Each basic motel unit has three twin beds , with all bedding included, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, full bathroom with towels. They also have HD satelite TV.
Our brand new kitchenettes are equipped with a full size kitchen. That includes refrigerator with freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. These units have four twin beds with all bedding included. A full size bathroom is also stocked with towels. We do have a roll-a-way bed that can be moved in for an additional person if needed. HD satelite TV completes the room.
We now have deluxe 4 man sleeper fish houses. They are equipped with a cook top, full 8 foot length beds, with mattresses, ( for the tall guys), 8 fishing holes, 2 rattle reels , a table and chairs. These are heated with an outside vent heater. An ice road will be available for those who just need ice access to the North side of Upper Red Lake.
In spring our protected harbor, with launch ramp, is equipped with docks for our customers boats. You can leave your boat in the water and plugged into electric all night, ready to hop in at first light and head out to fish the open water.
RV and tent sites are also available in the spring. The RV sites have electricity with 30 and 50 amp hookup as well as water.
Our bait and tackle shop is open. We have live bait winter and summer.
