As promised, we are sending some pics from our recent trip out of Beacon Harbor’s ice house rentals.

It was pretty cool being your first group out. The house was warm and holes all drilled when we arrived at noon and our first walleye was on the ice in a mere 15 minutes!

We sorted through several “overs” and managed to get 4 keepers under 17” for a fish fry that night. What a treat.

Our 2 day tally was 30 walleyes (12 in the slot), 2 jumbo perch (along with several smaller ones) and the highlight was Scott’s 40” EXTRA HEAVY pike he landed on a tip-up.

What a fight, the line was screaming out as Scott approached the flag and then stopped. The fish had actually “spooled” all 75 yards of line off before Scott ran the 75 feet to the flag! He released it after a few pics, for someone else to enjoy in the future.

Thank you for your attention to details and providing us a quality experience with some great memories for us to share.

We have used Raveling’s houses for several years and you are definitely keeping the quality tradition going.

Thanks again and we’ll see you later this winter. (Maybe a couple times if I can talk the wife into it!)

So are the guys out on the Ice.. they check on you often and make sure you are ok.. we even caught some Beautiful fish .. can't beat it.. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

I've been here 3 time's and each time was better,sleepers are clean warm and ready to fish when you show up,staff is very friendly they check on you a couple times a day and if you need anything just tell the person checking on you are call the office and they will get it to you. I just wish they had more houses unless you book early there pretty much booked up.

If you want a quality fishing experience in northern Minnesota on upper red lake, this is the ONLY place I will reserve with, they are the definition of hospitality and quality, this resort is fantastic, you will not be disappointed!
